Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 90 g of ground poppy seeds
- 2 tbsp honey
- seeds of 1 vanilla bean
- 1 pack vanilla sugar (approx. 18 g)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 cl STROH 80
- 2 tbsp hot water (or 2 tbsp STROH 80)
- 2 tbsp raisins
Preparation
- Soak raisins in 2 tbsp of hot water or 2 tbsp of STROH. After approximately 15 minutes, squeeze them well, finely chop, and mix with 4 cl of STROH.
- Spread softened butter in a rectangular shape, about 1 cm thick, on parchment paper. Place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine poppy seeds, cinnamon, honey, vanilla sugar, vanilla seeds, and the soaked raisins with 2 tablespoons of water.
- Spread the poppy seed mixture onto the butter and roll it up tightly into a firm log. Let it set in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
