Get a taste of the tropics

Embark on an imaginary journey to the Caribbean with the classic Pina Colada cocktail. This tropical delight combines the luscious flavors of pineapple and coconut water, instantly transporting you to sun-soaked beaches and swaying palm trees.

Ingredients for 1 Glass

For the pineapple syrup

  • 1 overripe pineapple
  • 1 l of water
  • 2 kg cane sugar

 

For the cocktail

  • 5 cl STROH 40
  • 3 cl fresh pineapple syrup
  • 2 cl lime juice
  • 10 cl coconut water
  • 1 fresh egg white

 

Preparation

For the pineapple syrup

  • Peel 1 overripe pineapple, cut out the stem and cut the pulp into 1 cm cubes.
  • Boil 2 kg of cane sugar with 1 liter of water.
  • Put the pineapple pieces in the slightly cooled, but still hot syrup.
  • Let steep closed and refrigerated for two days.

For the cocktail

  • Shake all ingredients in the shaker with ice cubes.
  • Strain in a fancy glass on ice cubes or crushed ice.
  • Serve garnished with the pineapple pieces marinated in the sugar syrup and a fresh cherry.
