Ingredients
- 4-5 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 bottle red wine
- 30 ml STROH 80
- 1 organic orange
- 1 organic lemon
- 2 cardamom pods
- 2 thin slices of ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 2-3 star anise
Preparation
- Melt the sugar in a saucepan at medium heat and leave to caramelize.
- Add red wine and STROH and stir the sugar until it dissolves.
- Cut the orange and lemon into slices, lightly press the cardamom pods and add everything together with the remaining spices to the mulled wine.
- Leave to infuse for 15-20 minutes at a very low heat and season to taste.
